Payment is due at the end of each session. Dr. Tanaka accepts cash (exact amount), checks (written to Akiho Tanaka, PhD, LLC), and credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover). Health Savings Account (HSA) and Flexible Spending Account (FSA) card payments are also accepted through Square.
Dr. Tanaka is an out-of-network provider. If your insurance plan reimburses for out-of-network services, please ask for a Superbill at the end of your session to submit to your health insurance company.
**Completion Process sessions will not be eligible for reimbursement.
Cancellation Policy: Except in cases of illness or emergency, please call Dr. Tanaka at least 24 hours before your appointment to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Without the 24-hour notice, you will be sent an invoice to pay for the full cost of the session.
Online therapy is available for clients in Florida.
